Dr. Andrew L. Smith Sr., Pastor 

Little Bethany Missionary Baptist Church

Dr. Smith was born and raised in San Francisco Ca. where he was a member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church and was baptized at an early age.

In 1974 he joined Little Bethany Missionary Baptist Church upon organization and under the leadership of his late father in-law and pastor Reverend John Phillips. He was ordained as a deacon and served as Sunday school superintendent for nineteen years. Dr. Smith is married to his wife, Patricia Smith, of fifty-three years. They have been blessed with two children who are both actively serving in the church.

In 2001 he received certification of ordination as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ to teach the word, preach the gospel and administer all the sacraments, ordinances and other functions of the church as pastor of Little Bethany Missionary Baptist Church.

Dr. Smith attended the Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College where he earned the degrees of Associate of Biblical Studies, Bachelor of Theology, and  Master of Theology/Christian Counseling.

In addition to serving as Pastor of Little Bethany Missionary  Baptist church, Dr. Smith is the Vice President of Pnuema Theological Seminary and Bible College where he earned the degree of Doctor of Religious Education.
